I’m Emma and I established this website to share our family recipes and inspire you to create delicious gluten-free meals in your own kitchen.
I’m Emma and I currently live in Hong Kong with my family.
I’m a Holistic Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Certified Gluten Free Practitioner. I am also a member of the International Association for Health Coaches and the Complementary Medical Association.
Diagnosed at the age of 21 with a gluten intolerance, I had become so ill and so thin I refused to stay on gluten in order to have the biopsy to confirm coeliac disease. I now have several autoimmune diseases and have learnt since the initial diagnosis 25 years ago that I am also intolerant to dairy.
The food we eat can have such a dramatic influence on our health, state of mind and simply how we feel about ourselves. Children can feel frustrated at being seen as different from others or having to eat different home made cakes rather than the birthday cake their friends are having.
Two sons have been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. One at the age of 13 and the youngest at the age of 5.
Twenty Five years ago it was hard to find any food that was palatable and supermarkets just didn’t stock it! Today he can walk into shops and restaurants and always find something he can eat but I wanted to go further. I wanted to make food that he missed and that friends and family would have no idea were gluten and dairy free. The Instagram was set up as a reminder of what had been prepared and what he enjoyed, and this led to followers who then asked for recipes and so here we are today.
I am a Certified Gluten Free Practitioner and received my Health Coach training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. I am also a member of the International Association for Health Coaches and Complementary Medical Association.
Food and lifestyle has such a dramatic influence on our health, state of mind and simply how we feel about ourselves and it is this reason why I trained to become a Health Coach. I wanted to help others who were having similar issues with health and autoimmune conditions.
My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.
Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.
