New to Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free?
What would you like to know?
When you are new to living Gluten-free or Dairy-free, it can be daunting. You may feel devastated and lost because what you eat needs to change. You have lost part of who you are, and perhaps you worry that will change how you have to live. I have had the same worries and feeling of loss as you have. It’s normal to feel this way, and it’s also normal to have problems when you start changing your diet.
I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance 25 years ago and a dairy intolerance 5 years ago. It was not an easy transition for me at the beginning. It was a few weeks before Christmas when my diet changed. I was so upset. I love everything about Christmas, but especially the food, and I remember thinking how awful it was that I couldn’t eat so much of what I wanted. I cheated at the start as well, but the only person that affected was me!
The health issues I had have almost completely disappeared now, and I love cooking and knowing that how we eat can affect how we feel. I'm now a Health Coach so I can help others with their individual wellness journeys.
Contact me directly if you have any questions. I also have a Facebook group you can join, which has information, recipes and a community of people who are all living the same way. We would love to hear from you.
Remember your 100% worth eating healthy for, and we're not missing out on anything because we are happy and healthy and I don't want to live any other way.
I hope you have enjoyed this information. Until next time!
